We wanted to thank you for your hospitality and throwing an amazing 1920s themed 40th birthday party for us. Our guest had an amazing time and commented on the fun vibe of the venue with yummy food and attentive staff. The indoor space is a beautiful place to have a winter party with its twinkly lights and marquee. Thank you for going the extra mile and making us some explosive negronis! We have just had the most amazing party at Monkton Barn and I cannot recommend it highly enough! The venue itself is so special with beautiful views all around you, but what made it really special was the team we worked with. From the get go their priority was making sure we had a great event and they were so flexible and accommodating to our ideas! The food and drinks on the day were spot on (the most amazing home made bread!) and the team on the day were just incredible, so helpful and so welcoming. Sharon and team thank you so much for such a memorable party!

Where do I even begin to start.. If you’re looking for a beautiful scenic venue with terrific food and lovely staff, Monkton barn is the venue to pick. From booking the venue to planning, taste testing and having our wedding in 6 months, it was the best day. Me and my bridal party got ready in the bridal room on site (hen house) and it was lovely.

The staff were amazing, especially Ella. We had 65 guests for our wedding on Saturday 23rd May and everyone had smiles on their faces. The weather was on our side, the food and all the staff were incredible. We had our ceremony on the meadow (under the pergola) then canapés and photos outside then our wedding breakfast inside. The food was fantastic (allergies taken into account which wasn’t a problem for them). Desserts were so tasty (churros were our childrens favourite) Sharon and Ella helped me set up the day before, no task was too big or small for them. Wendy the owner is lovely. A hotel to stay only 5 minutes up the road (Hampton by Hilton). Very convenient location just off the motorway.

The team at Monkton Barn delivered a truly fantastic prom for the girls. From start to finish they were incredibly helpful, accommodating and an absolute pleasure to work with. It’s a real gem close to Marlow, offering the most beautiful setting and the flexibility to create a completely bespoke and memorable event. We couldn’t have asked for a better venue.

The most amazing day!
We couldn’t be happier with our experience at Monkton Barn. From the very beginning, the team was incredibly accommodating, flexible, and truly committed to helping us create our dream day. Every detail was handled with care, and their willingness to adapt to our ideas made the whole planning process feel effortless.

One of the most unforgettable parts of our day was being able to get married in the woods which was so magical. The setting was serene and beautiful, and it gave our ceremony a truly special, intimate feel that we and our guests loved.

The sharing platter-style food was another highlight. It was high quality, delicious, and wonderfully varied, with something for everyone. We had so many guests comment on how much they enjoyed the food and how it added to the relaxed, joyful atmosphere of the day.

The entire experience - from the stunning location to the exceptional service -was everything we hoped for and more. We’re still hearing from guests about how much they loved the day, and we’re so grateful to the team for helping us bring our vision to life. We would wholeheartedly recommend Monkton Barn to anyone looking for a truly special wedding venue.

From the moment we met Peter, until the last person had left...we were overwhelmed by the professionalism, dedication and inspiration of Zara leading the team, with amazing support from Owen. Josh and Rob only added depth to our wondrous day. The setting was stunning. The food equally so. Children being wheeled about in a wheelbarrow as the sun set, and then a full moon, finished off a perfect day.

Where do we start... WOW, AMAZING, BEAUTIFUL are just some of the words that spring to mind. We are just floating on cloud 9, our day was everything we could have ever dreamed of and you made it happen.
Our budget was limited but you treated us like royalty, every member of your team has gone above and beyond for us, the communication and organisation was just incredible.
