Everyone absolutely loved the venue, the tea party worked so well; the cakes and sandwiches were very nice and enjoyed by all. The pizzas were some of the best tasted. Thank you also for catering for us on a nut-free basis.
Josh, you were very professional throughout and are certainly an asset to the team and thank you again for all your assistance.
You have the most wonderful and beautiful event space there and Tia has already decided that is where she would like to get married … so we will be back some day!

Hello everyone at Monkton Barn.
Firstly we’d just like to say thank you all from the bottoms of our hearts, for such an incredible day. The weather certainly played its part but so did every single one of you at the venue.
The last minute changes 24-hours before the main event were a bit stressful, but you all worked so hard to make it happen and it turned out to be such a blessing in disguise.
Josh - you were doing a viewing when we left on Saturday so we didn’t get a final chance to say thank you. So thank you for all your help on the build-up - and especially the quick turnaround the day before - and working so hard on the day.
Every single person that came to the day and evening said what an amazing venue it was and we think when we first met Peter, that if we pictured a wedding there and then, we definitely created it.
We hope the cleanup wasn’t too hard and that everything went smoothly behind the scenes.

You hosted our wedding on 27th August 2022 and it is a date that that will stay in our memories, not just because we got married!
Genuinely one of the most accommodating teams ever. Nothing was too big of an ask. Everyone was so friendly and attentive.
Our day was beautiful and everyone raved about the venue. We could not have had the wedding of our dreams without you. Josh you absolute legend! You made sure we could just sit back and enjoy the day knowing that you had everything under control.
And a thank you to Wendy… two people who do not like their photos being taken, now believe we are models! You made us feel so comfortable and we cannot recommend you enough.

I had the pleasure of having my 60th birthday at Monkton Barn. I had the most wonderful time with my family and friends mostly because of the wonderful setting, amazing canapés, super tasty summer BBQ and the drinks offered at the bar.
I had a unique bespoke service from the warmest welcome from Peter and the friendly staff who served us on the day. The booking process so easily done and I was always felt to be welcomed with any queries I had. I did change my ideas and mind on many occasions, however I was accommodated each time with no problems at all.
My family and friends loved everything offered at Monkton Barn, As I really was made to feel very special. I loved my 60th birthday party and highly recommend Monkton Barn for all types of special unique events, making beautiful memories. Thank you so much…..

The first time we stepped foot into Monkton Barn we instantly knew it was the wedding venue for us. We had a truly magical day and the woodland ceremony was an absolute dream. The team at Monkton Barn guided us every step of the way and they were so incredibly supportive making our dream wedding become a reality. They even manage to bring in the sunshine on our special day :)
We can't recommend them more highly, they really have become part of our family. We love you guys!

After 26 years together we decided to get married before we emigrate and combine our wedding with a farewell party.
We had 5 weeks to organise the event and I am so happy that we chose Monkton Barn to host it. Gabriela, Michele and the team on the day were great.

The venue was absolutely perfect for all our needs. The hen house was a fab room to get ready. lovely and relaxing! The meadow, barn and marquee provided space that flowed for all age groups, including lots of small humans. The food was great and the hog roast was a hit with everyone.

We wanted a space where the whole room could enjoy the band. We opted for the band to perform in the marquee area and the dance floor was full the whole evening with the fabulous Got To Groove band.

To ensure our farewell went with a bang Pyroheadz/Showtime firework performed an amazing display.

Hi Gabriela, thank you once again for the most amazing day you provided to us. I just want to say from top to bottom your staff were fantastic with us. This includes yourself who was so attentive, and your colleague who, on so many occasions, would find me to ensure there wasn’t anything else I needed; all the way to Peter, who shared a drink with me on the evening. Your whole team worked tremendously hard to ensure Emily and I and our guests had the best time possible. I cannot thank you enough for this.

Hi Wendy, just a note to thank you, Peter, Gabriela and all the team for making Saturday such a great success. All my guests were so impressed with the organisation and professionalism on the day. Special thanks to Chef James in the kitchen, the food was delicious and to all of the bar and service team who made sure everyone enjoyed the day! In addition to comments about how pretty Monkton Barn is, a lot of people commented on the friendliness and helpfulness of the Monkton Barn team, as well as the wedding breakfast. Everything seemed to happen in the right place at the right time, which we appreciate involves a lot of organisation and effort.

Just to say thank you very much for our prom on Tuesday evening. The Year 11s had a great time and it was a fantastic venue for our event - it looked so pretty, especially with all the fairy lights. The food was really nice and the staff were very efficient, helpful and very pleasant - Julia.

Thanks so much for being fantastic hosts for our wedding. Everyone commented what a great set up it was, how delicious the food was and how friendly all your lovely staff were. Can't wait to see Wendy's photos!

I covered a fantastic wedding at Monkton Barn in Spring 2017. The grounds and building itself are stunning. Lot's of character and plenty of space. Additionally the field attached is a fantastic location for photo's and has fabulous views. The staff are very professional and ensure the wedding day run's as smoothly as possible. I would highly recommend this venue.

Delicious, freshly cooked Italian food. An inspired menu with something for everyone. The lamb was outstanding and my watermelon granita pudding was up there with the best. Charming service - truly a laid back Sunday treat.

We had a lovely lazy mothers day lunch, the live music was wonderful and the food was so delicious. We were very well looked after by the team at Monkton and we all had a fabulous time!

Really enjoyed being at Monkton Barn on Mother’s Day. We had a wonderful meal, super nice service, great live music all in a beautiful setting. Would highly recommend.
