Entertainment at Monkton Barn

WOW Yours Guests With Top Entertainment at Monkton Barn!

One of the key factors of any big event is entertainment and we are very fortunate to be able to offer couples and party hosts lots and lots of choice! So whether you are planning to have a DJ spinning classic party tunes, a spectacular fireworks show, an Elvis impersonator or fairground dodgems on the meadow, we can accomodate almost anything to suit your wishes! We can also help you with recommendations, and will assist with the logisitics and planning so that everything runs perfectly.

Live Music and DJs

We are particularly well-versed in hosting live music at Monkton Barn due to having our very own jazz club The Jazz Experience which takes place several times a year at the venue. Therefore we have modular staging and additional lighting available to hire which is suitable for bands/DJs and other entertainment, should you need it.

Another brilliant thing about booking entertainment for your wedding or party here, is that there are No Sound Limits so you can keep the party going into the early hours!

Fun and Games For All Ages

Additional entertainment such as traditional garden games, are a great source of nostalgic fun and amusement during the more unstructured periods of your event; for example during group photographs, or as your evening guests start to arrive.

Monkton Barn’s PropShop is brimming with games – including a skittle alley, clock-golf, catch, coconut-shy, serious Jenga, tug o’ war, nearest-the-pin golf, horseshoes and welly wanging. You are very welcome to hire anything we don’t have, via our helpful Directory of Suppliers and Contractors.

Take some entertainment inspo from past events, which have included fairground rides, hot air balloon flights, circus performers, outdoor cinema, magicians, giant inflatables such as bouncy castles, Segway rides, mobile photobooths and magic mirrors…even a medieval re-enactment featuring knights in shining armour! Be fun, be creative and host an event your guests’ won’t forget!
