Marquees are quite literally a blank canvas – just waiting for your vision and style – to create a bespoke wedding or party location of dreams! Or go all out, with show-stopping floral displays, contemporary furnishings and dramatic lighting!
You might choose to incorporate a marquee, in conjunction with the main barn; for reception drinks, or an evening disco for example. Or you might like to use our meadow or woodland exclusively and base your entire event in the in the great outdoors. All possible! We host marquee weddings and parties from mid-April through to the end of September.

Last-minute ‘weather insurance’ for your outdoor wedding or party at Monkton Barn.
Despite the team at Monkton Barn being eternal weather optimists, we have dealt with almost every kind of British weather condition over the past 12 years – and we know that the thought of the ‘uncontrollable’ can be stressful in the run up to your event. So whether you think you’ll need shelter to escape a summer rainshower or some welcome shade to keep your guests cool and comfortable; worry not – we’ve got you covered.
We have two white capri marquees of our own, available at short-notice for our clients should the forecast be deemed to potentially effect your plans or guests’ participation. With prices starting from as little as £300, we just ask for 5 days notice so that the marquees can be set up in good time for your event.

Monkton Barn is licenced to host events with up to approximately 450 guests. We have a late licence and no sound limits, which enables our clients’ celebrations to keep going into the early hours. We work with some of the best in the industry to bring our clients an unrivalled range of marquee choice. From quality basic structures, to fully-furnished and decorated showpieces! They know our venue well and we trust them to provide you with a brilliant service.
