We are guessing that like us, you are suffering from the lockdown blues? Can’t wait for things to return to ‘normal’? Looking forward to enjoyable times with friends once more? Wanting some live entertainment? Anticipating dining out again?
At the Jazz Experience we have been waiting and looking forward to those things too. At last the time has arrived and we are feeling confident to present our next (and best so far) event, after more than a year away. And we’ve decided that since our last event back in February 2020 was such a huge success, we would invite the same sensational musicians to thrill us again and celebrate our re-opening. So we are delighted to announce that we will present ‘Some Kinda Wonderful – The Music of Stevie Wonder’ on Friday 28th May 2021!
Celebrating the genius of Stevie Wonder, mesmeric vocalist Noel McCalla (Manfred Mann’s Earth Band and “one of Britain’s best Soul Singers” – Blues & Soul Magazine), alongside award-winning saxophonist, Derek Nash (Jools Holland and “one of the most versatile saxophonists in the UK today” – The Guardian) and a world-class band, audiences are treated to a diverse back catalogue of classic hits, from 1970’s ‘Signed, Sealed, Delivered’ through to hits from ‘Talking Book’, ‘Innervisions’, ‘Songs in the Key of Life’ and ‘Hotter than July’. Playing hit after hit, from the dance floor classics ‘I Wish’ and ‘Superstition’ to beautiful arrangements of ‘My Cherie Amour’ and ‘Overjoyed’, this is a real ‘master blaster of a show!”
A simply fabulous show with a brilliant band. A must-see!
